The first card I have to share features HAMBO Stamps: Party Chicks #2701.  I used K&Co Americana Paper stack and solid white and red cardstock.  Ribbon is by Pure Color Essentials.  I added a star brad to the ballon which is cut out and popped up with a dimensional.  The nest has moss adhered with Crystal Effects.  PrismaColor pencils were used to color the image and nestabilites die for the circles. This card uses SKETCH#52.

The next card features an SU! image also colored with PrimsaColor pencils.  Same papers with twine and a silver star charm. This card uses SKETCH#15.

Lastly, is a simple sentiment I received from a friend.  Same papers.  This card uses SKETCH #18 turned upright.

No Hour Wasted...

I made this for today's CAS & TLC challenges. I used sponges instead of my brayer and combined SUs Bareback horses with Theresa Momber's Out West sentiment. Added some twine and a silver star charm.

SPRING FEVAH...

BECAUSE I CARE..

This past weekend, Splitcoast Stampers hosted the Spring Virtual Stamp Night (VSN).  There were challenges posted hourly during the hours of play and you only get 45 minutes to complete your card.  That is why many of my cards are of the clean and simple variety.  Not to mention is pushes me to do something different. 

This card is for a challenge to make a Sympathy card, and it features one of my favorite SU! sets.  I use a technique I call shadow stamping.  Not sure if that is the correct term.  Basically you ink up your image, stamp it, lift one side slightly while one part of the image remains in contact with the paper, move the stamp slightly to the left or right, then repeat.  Each time the image is slightly lighter and all of the stems connect at the bottom.  I added some bling to the center of the darkest flowers and used my nestabilities.  Then added a heart charm with some silver twine.

I made this card for one of the VSN Challenges: to use a heart or the word love on your card.  This stamp is from an SU! stamp set that I bought and never really inked up.  The paper is DCWV.

CAS Note of Thanks...

I made a big batch of these clean and simple, monochromatic thank you notes.  Love the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set for this kind of card.  Added the ribbon with some tape and a little bling on the flower - done!

SEQUIN FLOWERS...

I made this for the third challenge of the VSN Mini - to use sequins on a card.  I chose to stamp some flowers and use the sequins as the flower centers.  I attached them with mini brads.

I made this for my cousin, Pat, who lost her son this weekend. We called him Big-eyes Jimmy because he had the biggest, bluest eyes of us all. I will miss you Jimmy... rest with God.

KEEPING IT SIMPLE...

 Life has a way of helping me to focus on the things that are really important.  It has been busy and I needed some cards, so I made a slew of these simple cards and wanted to share them with you.. BROWN & BLUE SYMPATHY...

I have been so bee-zy with school, that I thought I wouldn't get to stamp until Christmas - uugh..... I did make a really nice swap card last month, but forgot to take a picture of it. Then, made a birthday card for a party my son went to yesterday.. still not photo.. Well, unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card recently and I am also participating in a sympathy card swap next month with a local group. I'm not sure if this one will make the cut, I think I will use a non-traditional stamp to create one instead, but I do love the brown and blue color combo.
