This is a 6x6 scrapbook page that I made for a local swap that I participate in monthly.... man, is that small! I adjusted the SBSC85 layout. Stacked bugs are where a small, wallet-sized photo would go. I really like how this turned out and love these colors together.

STAMP: Cute as a bug

I made this for this week's Dare Challenge issued by Anne akak JDMommy. She wanted us to use the Olympics as an inspiration.. Boy, oh boy, was this hard. I don't have any sort of oriental type stamps with the exception of my embrace life set. So, I decided to use it along with the new in-colors to make this Oriental-themed card. I used the Japanese stab-binding technique to add the chopsticks.. I think tonight we will order some Chinese takeout and watch the opening ceremony.

Can't you just hear her now..."Well, I think the Kiwi Kiss is the best. And have you seen the new designer series papers!..."..needed a birthday card and had fun using the new colors with my aquapainter.. thanks for looking!

Inside reads:

Growing old can be fun if you do it with the right people!

She is incredibly talented and made all of the items pictured here with the exception of the paper crafts (they were made by me). She invited me to participate in her craft show which she holds in her home. If you see anything here that you are interested in, please email Edith at
