OWH Sketch BlogHop...

Welcome to the Operation Write Home Sketch Bloghop.

The first card I have to share features HAMBO Stamps: Party Chicks #2701.  I used K&Co Americana Paper stack and solid white and red cardstock.  Ribbon is by Pure Color Essentials.  I added a star brad to the ballon which is cut out and popped up with a dimensional.  The nest has moss adhered with Crystal Effects.  PrismaColor pencils were used to color the image and nestabilites die for the circles. This card uses SKETCH#52.

The next card features an SU! image also colored with PrimsaColor pencils.  Same papers with twine and a silver star charm. This card uses SKETCH#15.

Lastly, is a simple sentiment I received from a friend.  Same papers.  This card uses SKETCH #18 turned upright.

For the Teachers...

I made these this year for my children's teachers.  I used tagxedo.com to create the apples, changed each of them up with color schemes and layouts.  Tagxedo is a website where you can create word clouds with style.

As it turns out, I did have a fluffy little kitty in my stash. This image was sent to me a couple of years ago from a friend who loves kitty cats and bunnies.

I combined the Teapot Challenge with the Color Challenge. I must admit that I won't miss any of these colors, but if I had to chose one, it would be Poppy Parade.

Additional Info
Stamps: Fluffles
Paper: white, concord crush, poppy parade, blushing bride, barfy orange

"Channel Surfing" Blog Hop

RIVER MONSTERS ~ Fish on!
Welcome to the "Channel Surfing"  Blog Hop sponsored by Hambo Stamps! Today Hambo customers and the Bacon Bits Design Team are bringing you fun creations that depict TV show titles! It might be our favorite show, or just one that was fun to design. If you arrived here from {Mary's Blog} you are in the right place! If not, you might want to start back at the beginning at the Hambo blog to make sure you are eligible for the hopper prize!
A prize will be awarded to one participant whose TV-themed creation  tickles the Bacon Bits’ fancy in a hammin’ jammin’ way!  Another prize will be awarded randomly to a hopper who comments on all the blogs along the way. The winners will  be announced on the Hoedown blog, as well as on the Hambo company blog, Talk to the Ham, on  Wednesday, May 23.
Can you guess my TV-themed creation?!?  It's RIVER MONSTERS!!  My kids LOVE that show!  Well, they pretty much love anything on Animal Planet and to tell you the truth, I don't mind watching Jeremy Wade.  I really dig his accent and admire any man who can handle a 100lb fish with his bare hands.  For my card, I used Fisherman.  I paper pieced his boat, hat and fish.  The rest is colored with Prisma Color pencils.  I used some monofilament from which to hang the fish.  It extends all the way down the pole.  I'm afraid it is so thin that you probably can't see it, but it does make for a nice effect on the card in person... and shh, don't tell my husband I plundered his tackle box!  Father's Day is coming up, and this image is perfect for the occasion.
Now dance on over to {Melissa's Creations} for another great TV show!
If you get lost along the way, here is the entire list of hoppers.

Just Catching Up!

I mean seriously, just how cute is this stamp.  So fun to color!  Check out his hair!!  I just love the hair.  If my son could figure out how to make his look like this, he would.  He loves a good mohawk.

For the Hoedown Challenge today, we are to use a Hambo image and add some flowers.  Now, I'll bet you expected me to go for my primas, right?!  Tricked ya!  My flowers are attached to that yummy ribbon.  I used PrismaColor pencils to color my image, outlined it with a Copic marker, then fussy cut it out.  I used some simple dp with a small repeating design from the same paper pack.  Everything was matted with a solid dark brown and popped up with some foam dots.

Stamp by HAMBO:  Catching Butterflies

Now pull out your favorite Hambo rubber or digital image, grab some flowers and get crafty.  Don't forget to upload to Mr. Linky on the Hoedown Blog.  We want to see what cha got!
