VALENTINES...

I made several of these candy filled bags for my kid's teachers and their bus driver. I think they are cute as can be and easy peasy to make with the big shot. The little bee is from Inkadinkado and just perfect since the school mascot is a bee. I took pics of the front and the back since they are both so cute.
Next up is the little Valentine I made for my students. They will go in a glassine bag with a lolly attached to the front.
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend with the people you love.

SNOWED IN...so let's paint!

Well, my DH has been bugging me for the past couple of weekends to go to Lowe's and pick out paint for the Family Room. So, the roads were clear enough that we finally made it there on Sunday. He was so patient, walking the kids all over the store while I agonized over all of the color options (for an hour no doubt). I finally settled on Valspar Eddie Bauer Mercer Blue (geez is that a mouthful, I just call it blue)... And here is it is.. We still have to finish putting the rest of the pictures up..

TEMPTATION...

I spent the better part of the day catching up on the Scripture Challenge. Temptation was a hard one for me. I had an idea in my mind, but just wasn't sure how to make it happen.. So, when I finally got started, this is what I created.

There are times in my life that decisions are clearly black and white.. it is those shades of gray that trip me up. Knowing that you are being tempted is the easy part.. you don't actually sin until you act upon that temptation...
My Verse: "Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temtation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak. ~ Matthew 26:41"
