JUST BECAUSE..

I'm heading in the back door of the tea party and with the frustration of trying to load this card setting in, I would like to have some 'strong' tea! Not to mention some cookies and blueberry tarts!  After three attempts and some nasty 'can't read your file' messages, it's done, it's loaded.. whew!
This is for several challenges, as you can see listed in the keywords. I won't bore you with the details of each, suffice it to say I did bend quite a few color and technique lover rules. But, for the Mothermark I do have a hummingbird on my card..
Thanks for a fun challenge Cindy.. and I would love to participate in the destination station. Wonder who will load to the teapot gallery after me?? And who will be ahead of me!! Can't wait, I'm already stalking my mailman...
woot!

RISE UP!

MWAH, MWAH, MWAH??

I made this card for this week's Hambo Hoedown. The challenge was to make a card with a hint of royalty in it, something about some wedding in England coming up or something. Ha! I added my own sentiment.. Can I get a little mwah, mwah, mwah? If you have seen Despicable Me with your kids, then you have probably heard this particular line repeated - over and over and over again. But, it still makes me laugh.
I used my aquapainter to paint my prince and added some liquid applique on his robe plus silver half pearls to his crown. This is also for today's Free For All Challenge to use the color orange on a card.
Thanks for looking - MWAH!

WT319 - Oval Jellyfish..

I have wanted to use this stamp set for a while and just love this jellyfish image. I stamped it with black craft and embossed with clear ep. Then I cut it out with my oval nestability, sponged with not quite navy, then bleached out the body of the jellyfish.
This is an old mojo sketch.

PRETEND THEY ARE TULIPS...

I made this for the Teapot Tuesday Challenge..

1. I know the image is supposed to be a tulip.
2. I know Mothermark is the Queen of breaking challenge rules and there is much evidence to support this statement, so I think she will appreciate my non-tulip, tulip card.
3. I think tulips are pretty.  I just don't have any tulip stamps.  In fact, I don't even have any tulips in my yard.  I just don't think that they bloom long enough, so why bother.  I'll admire them in other folk's yards.
4. That's all I have to say about that.

Oh, and thanks for looking!
