GOAT BOY GOES GREEN...

I just love this cute image.  Meet Goat by HAMBO Stamps.  It really reminds me of the Goat Boy skits on SNL.  This week we are challenged to use some sort of recycled element on our card.  I have recycled some cardboard, buttons and cork on my card.  Head on over to the Hoedown blog for more details.  Can't wait to see what you recycle.

Ain't Nothing Wrong With That

Since my brain is 95% song lyrics, I was glad to learn some new songs over Spring Break thanks to Hannah Spear for teaching them and Nathaniel McMurray for making cd's for the kids. After listening to this one, I can't seem to get it out of my head.. but IT DON'T MATTA, 'CAUSE THERE AIN'T NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT.  

 What I take away from this song is that it doesn't matter where you are, what you look like, where you are from, how you dress, how you talk, what you've done in your past... it just don't matta becuase God meets you where you are. 

CANDLES MARCHING ONE BY ONE....

Every year another candle is added until one day, you just stick a couple on the cake and call it good.  Right?!

It's Wednesday... and that means, time for another Hoedown with Hambo.  Check out this super cute image!  He is the newest digital image by Hambo called Paper Boy and he is easy to color and comes with 3 cute sentiments.  The Hoedown challenge this week is to use this cute guy (or any other Hambo stamp) to create a card that has an extra fold.  I punched then folded my 'newspaper' and added to the side of my main image.  Love how it turned out.

My card today is made with Hambo's Sweat Hog Stamp.  I stamped the image twice.  Once on the white base and the second on some pink polka dot dp.  I then watercolored sweat pig's clothes with a darker pink, cut it out and added it to the base.  I layered the image with some nestabilities and used some larger polka dot paper for the background.  Of course I had to add some bling and ribbon and gave her hooves some shine with Crystal Effects.
