I made this for a couple of different challenges. First of all I LOVE today's color challenge. I used the Monday Mojo 93 sketch for the layout. I also used the free Whimsie Turtle digi image that Julia shared with us for last weeks Doubledog Dare Challenge.

SULD SWAP...

I bought these party favor boxes eons ago when they were marked waaaay down at Target. I made these for a swap I'm participating in with some local demos. Love the new colors...
Inside contains homemade Lavender Bath Salts.

Here is the recipe:

• 1 c. epsom salt
• 1/2 tsp glycerin
• 3 drops of essential oil **make sure it is safe for your skin, I used lavender**
• 3 drops of color.. I used SU's rich razzleberry re-inker

BINARY CODE...

...IS ALL GREEK TO ME!!
I needed a birthday card for today and I had already planned to use this set. It is for a little boy who lives up the street who is turning 6. Anyway, how to fit it into today's challenge.. well binary code is ALL Greek to me... I have no idea how it (binary code) works, why it works.. but I sure am glad some brainiac figured it out!!

I needed a fun birthday card for my brother-in-law. We always enjoy giving him a good ribbing... I saw this sentiment on a card here on SCS and scribbled it down... I printed the 'text' out on my computer..

One of the reasons I enjoy stamping so much, is that I get to paint. I love to paint. Before I was introduced to stamping, I spent most of my time painting.. on wood, walls, stools, etc.. I love that I can use my aquapainter and inks to paint any lineart image, and these images from the Fantasy Art line at Queen Kat Designs are perfect for just that. I made this card with the newly released Fantasy Palm. This stamp is currently 35% OFF!! I love this stamp! I stamped the image twice: once on my card, then again on scrap paper. I cut out the fronds and poped them up. The image is colored with my aquapainter and re-inkers!! The sentiment is handwritten then punched out with an oval punch. What do you think?

I made this for Friday's Limited Supply Challenge: Water + Sand = Follow the List... I have quite a few of these fun images from Art Impressions, so it was hard to pick which one to use today. I love this funny lady...and I even put some real sand on my card.. I also used the Mojo Monday Sketch for my layout.

LOVELY CRINKLED FLOWERS

Hooray! My box of new SU! goodies arrived!! And boy have I been itching to dig into them.I LOVE today's WT Challenge!! What a great way to show-off some of the new dsp! I used the dsp from the Hostess Level 3 Bundle Pack. I have to tell ya... this is a wonderful dsp pack. I also used the sentiment from the stamp set that came with it. I decided to use the DDC Sketch for a 4x6 frame I bought from the dollar store.

I combined this challenge with the Tuesday Doubledog Dare Challenge. This week I happen to be the hostess, and I created a sketch. Everyone is invited to play along, and you can read more about the details on the thread located in the Challenge Forum HERE. Subscribe and join in the fun each week.

For me, nothing says Summertime more than vacation. And I love to vacation at the beach. For me it is the most relaxing place. I made this card with the newly released Fantasy Palm. This stamp is currently 40% OFF making it only $1.79!! I love this stamp! I stamped the image twice on my card, then again twice on scrap paper. I cut out the fronds and poped them up. The image is colored with my aquapainter and re-inkers!! I made my own hammock by cutting out some dsp and attaching it between my plam trees. Next I sponged all around the imaged in baja breeze ink. And of course I had to add sand..

I decided to share this card that I made with a new mermaid from the Whimsical Ink line at QKD. Meet Pearl. Isn't she beautiful! I love this new image. She is ready for the Masquerade Ball and is adorned with lovely pearls. I used my aqua painter to color the image, then went over the lines with my sakura glitter pen to add some sparkle.
