I made these cards for Tuesday's Color Challenge: Pacific Point, Certainly Celery, and Basic Gray. I wasn't sure how these colors would look together, but I LOVE it! The first cards is made using two stamps from the Friendship Blooms set from GinaK. I stamped the imaged twice, then cut out the red roses and popped them up. This technique is called paper tole and adds really nice dimension to cards (you can see it better in the close-up). I also stamped the image on basic gray and cut out the vase, then glued it onto the main image, this technique is called paper piecing. I colored the image with my aquapainter and several of the new SU! in-colors. Dots were added with Stampin' Write markers.
This card was made with an Elzybell image sent to me by my friend Cindy. I just love this cute little girl. Not to mention....BRRR! It has been cold here in VA. I am secretly hoping that it is a sign of snow to come and that this winter we will have at least a few good snow storms.
I love this song and just can't wait for the radio stations to start playing Christmas music... after all, It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Thanks for looking.

And I like your close up picture of your vase, how did you do that?
Beautiful cards! I love the idea of popping up a couple of flowers.
Wow! Those look like real roses sticking out of the vase. Good job!
