"Channel Surfing" Blog Hop

RIVER MONSTERS ~ Fish on!
Welcome to the "Channel Surfing"  Blog Hop sponsored by Hambo Stamps! Today Hambo customers and the Bacon Bits Design Team are bringing you fun creations that depict TV show titles! It might be our favorite show, or just one that was fun to design. If you arrived here from {Mary's Blog} you are in the right place! If not, you might want to start back at the beginning at the Hambo blog to make sure you are eligible for the hopper prize!
A prize will be awarded to one participant whose TV-themed creation  tickles the Bacon Bits’ fancy in a hammin’ jammin’ way!  Another prize will be awarded randomly to a hopper who comments on all the blogs along the way. The winners will  be announced on the Hoedown blog, as well as on the Hambo company blog, Talk to the Ham, on  Wednesday, May 23.
Can you guess my TV-themed creation?!?  It's RIVER MONSTERS!!  My kids LOVE that show!  Well, they pretty much love anything on Animal Planet and to tell you the truth, I don't mind watching Jeremy Wade.  I really dig his accent and admire any man who can handle a 100lb fish with his bare hands.  For my card, I used Fisherman.  I paper pieced his boat, hat and fish.  The rest is colored with Prisma Color pencils.  I used some monofilament from which to hang the fish.  It extends all the way down the pole.  I'm afraid it is so thin that you probably can't see it, but it does make for a nice effect on the card in person... and shh, don't tell my husband I plundered his tackle box!  Father's Day is coming up, and this image is perfect for the occasion.
Now dance on over to {Melissa's Creations} for another great TV show!
If you get lost along the way, here is the entire list of hoppers.

Well, a show that's new to me! I will have to check it out, especially if it has a host that's a dish. Great coloring and I love the papers that you chose. Wonderful masculine card!

I can't believe that for all the channel surfing I do, I've never watched that show -- not even a few minutes of it. I'll have to make it a point now, because your description of Jeremy has piqued my interest! LOL What an awesome card -- the popped up fish looks great, as does the paper-piecing!

I am not familiar with the show (no kiddies), but this card is awesome. Such a great image. Love how you made the river and the use of the paper is great.
