APPLE FOR TEACHER...
I made a couple of these for my kid's teachers. School starts this week!!! They are so excited! I used the Cheep Talk set to make my limb and my sweet treat cups filled with cinnamon imperials for the apple. Bees are the school mascot. So, instead of using the Cheep Talk bird images, I dusted off my Watercolor Garden set and stamped a couple of the bees and added the dots with my pen.
Thanks for looking!

STARRY, STARRY LIGHTHOUSE...
I was intrigued by yesterday's Technique Lover's Challenge and decided after I saw Cindy's TPT lighthouse image that I would combine the two and try case Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night. I love that painting. It is my favorite.
I used the technique to create the scene on my card. First I stamped the lighthouse from the Guiding Light set by GKD and embossed, then I used my gold and silver leafing pens to create the stars and swirly background. Next, I used my aquapainter and painted the backgroud with crushed curry, bermuda bay and not quite navy. I used SU! markers to paint the lighthouse and added some tiny silver bling to the star centers, as well as some stickles for shine. It was hard to catch the glimmer of the stickles in the photo, but I hope you can see it.
Thanks for looking!

NEAR THE SEA...
I made this for today's color challenge as well as for this month's Fan Club theme and sketch.
I used Heidi Grace's Beyond the Sea clear stamps.
For the CC, I stamped my images in craft black, then embossed, next I used my aquapainter and bleach, to bleach out the images, I bleached out the body of the jellyfish, which turned it to a crisp white, and I bleached out the starfish and sand dollars, making them a tan. Love the look of this.
The sentiment is a clear sticker from Cloud 9 Designs and reads 'Near the sea we forget to count the days.'
This is also for this week's Doubledog Dare Challenge issued by Anne aka jdmommy, "Out of the Box".. my starfish are out of the box.. Thanks for a super fun challenge Anne!!

I LOVE THE OCEAN..
I made this for the Fan Club. The theme this month is the Tropical Paradise. I am really cutting it close this month, as the theme will change in a couple of days, but I do so love the ocean and all things blue and green.... not to mention the opportunity to play with the Dirty Girls..eek!
This is for the inspiration piece, which I just LOVE! Those flip flops are incredible. I used a Heidi Grace stamp set and tried to make a scene that mimics the piece.

COW PILE AT THE TEA PARTY...
In case you didn't know. Mothermark is always having these wonderful tea parties on Tuesday..
Well, there has been quite the hubba-lub all over the Splitcoast Stampers gallery about M'udder'mark's tea party in California. It all started when Cindy invited everyone to Tosh's to have tea with the California cows. You can read all about it here.
So, everyone is headed to Tosh's for tea and apparently you have to bring your own cream! She will even show you how to milk your cow and give lessons on making your own cream.
There has been a heated discussion about who will be the star in the next California milk commercial and why California cows are so happy.. some say it has to do with the kind of 'hay' or 'grass' they eat... and that the cream they give is 'better quality' and 'like no udder'. You can see all of the Deleted Scenes from the auditions HERE.... ~ just blame it on that 'hay'.
I'm not sure about either, but I did see a major cow pile... who is gonna clean that up?!
To see the rest of the tea party attendees, click here.. some of them are quite talented and I'm eager to see who will win this vote.

IT'S A TWO-FER..
I have two cards to share with you today.
First up ~ Mr. Do-Bee...
I made this card for the Featured Stamper Challenge. Congrats to Teresa Kline aka vasunshine!! I just love her gallery! I chose to case THIS card. I looked through her entire gallery, and it was such a hard choice with all of the amazing cards. I decided I really liked the 'look' of this one.
I combined this with a previous Doubledog Dare challenge given by Charlene to make a "Do-Bee" card. I used one of my embossing folders for all of the things Mr. Do-Bee would want you to be. It also had to have a bee on it. This cute little stamp was given to me by my dear friend Linda. I'm not sure who makes it.
Additional Info
Stamps: bee stamp of unknown origins
Paper: ginak white, all others non-su
Ink: stazon
Accessories: SU! markers, circle die-cut, brads, ribbon, embossing folder. stickles
Second up ~ Birthday Cake...
I made this card using the MOJO98 sketch, combining it with today's color challenge. At first, I wasn't too sure about how to make these colors work together, but I like how it turned out. Thanks for getting me to use colors I generally never pull out.
Additional Info
Stamps: Fun & Fast Notes
Paper: whiser white, close to cocoa, certainly celery (solid and dp), blush blossom, cameo coral
Ink: stazon
Accessories: SU! markers, friskars circle cutter, ribbon, stickles

ANY and EVERYONE is welcome to participate, just put DDC as one of your keywords in your SCS gallery or link back to this post with your card, so that we can see your creations. This sketch can be combined with any other challenges... just have fun! Also, there is no deadline.
