I love Easter because of the theme of the darkness and despair of Lent and Good Friday turning to the joy of Easter morning.

Easter, the time to remember all that Jesus did on the cross and through His resurrection for us all. He's Alive And I'm FORGIVEN! that's what Easter is to me.

Great cards you have on here. Very inspiring.

What great blog candy- Thanks for the opportunity to win! Celebrating Easter is a reminder that Jesus paid for our sins on the cross, was resurrected, and through Him we are forgiven.

Ooops...I left a comment on the wrong post. Sorry.

I said Easter was the time to remember what Christ has done for each of us~

Also, I really like the dp and the blog candy looks like so much fun!

Easter is one of the special occasions at church that I love....rising of Jesus, glorius hymnal music, and trumpets and flutes. Big home-cooked meals are good, too. Thanks for the chance to win some great blog bling!

Great blog candy!
Easter to me is family get togethers. Easter and Christmas are pretty much the two occassions that our whole family tries to get together (maybe not that day but around then) to celebrate.

This candy ROCKS! Easter is getting with the family and watching all the kids having FUN and looking so cute in their new outfits. I also can't forget the Jesus died for our sins.
Thanks for a chance.

The death and resurrection of Jesus and the reminder of why He died on that cross

Easter is a new begining, both in faith and the growth of the earth. Easter means spring will soon be here with all the birds singin and the flowers blooming.

Hi Beverly! what great blog candy! Easter to me has several layers of meaning - the most important being the resurrection of Jesus so that we might also live! then there is the hope of spring and rebirth of the earth - and then there is family the family gathering to celebrate all this and to celebrate with baskets and candy - bunnies and chicks!

Easter is the beginning of new life... and being in the Spring, you see it all around you. You need to hide your Easter candy better!!

Great blog! Easter to me is a time of renewal, spring comes (finally), we get to celebrate with family, and of course chocolate, Easter lilies and colored eggs.

Easter to me is a time to belive in miracles. Look towards the sky and ask for forgiveness and believe in new beginnings. It also means the real start to spring (even though it's so early this year). BTW, great blog candy.

Hi Beverly,
Nice blog candy! Easter means rejoicing because of the gift that God gave us by sacrificing His Son Jesus on the cross. A gift means it didn't cost us anything--but what a cost for the giver! I need to be reminded of that every day, not just on Easter. Blessings on your Easter!

For me Easter is being thankful for the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for us, and being with the people we love to celebrate life, and spring.

It means that Jesus died for me, for all of us, and sacrificed all he went through so that we could attain everlasting happiness in heaven. Here on earth now it means a relaxing day with family and a good dinner, even if the weather doesn't cooperate!

Easter reminds me of my childhood. Getting dressed up to go to church, sometimes getting a pretty new Easter bonnet, or pretty headband with flowers, the Easter Egg hunt for those pretty foil eggs the bunny left us along with maybe a skipping roap or outside toy. We'd play with the neighbourhood children & our families outside all day with our little easter goodies, then have a lovely ham dinner. :) Happy Easter! bluemoonbynite at yahoo dot com
